Inventions That Enhanced Laziness

Humans are always looking at ways to make our lives easier. The inventions below have achieved this goal more than most. Thanks to mentalfloss for pointing out these fantastic ideas.


Lazy inventions. Escalator
The Escalator. Invented in 1891.



La-Z-Boy reclining chair invention
La-Z-Boy - First reclining chair. Invented in 1928.


Inventions to make life easier - Velcro straps
Velcro. Invented in 1948.



Laziness inventions - Calculator
Calculator. The first adding machine was released in 1892.


Invention of the toilet
The modern toilet. Became popular in the mid 1800s.
