Here are some more ideas for your Halloween party in a couple of weeks.
These ideas are all cakes you can either serve for desert or as finger food depending on what you're plan for the evening is.

Start with a skeleton for the hand.
Build up the arm with sponge on the base with jam. The bones are candy sticks.
Round off the arm with more sponge and jam.
Now ice and shape the arm, hand and fingers the best you can.
Now the hard bit, colour the cake to look like an arm.
Now present the arm cake looking suitably gross.
Finally, slice and serve.
