Scariest environment imaginable


Most landscape images on this blog are there for their beauty, elegance, colour and natural wonder. However there are some areas of our planet that look like the apocalypse, today we pay homage to some such wonders of nature. Images and information sourced from Environmental Graffiti here.

These strange, egg-like mounds look as if they form part of some alien landscape. In fact, though, this colourful expanse of unusually eroded rocks is the Bisti Badlands, located in New Mexico.
